The Earth has fallen out of orbit: NASA has changed the calculated trajectory of the solar eclipse

thrillist.com:  If you’re reading this, then you’re probably worried that your predetermined “primary location in the path of solar eclipse totality” isn’t that prime anymore.
Recently, some news has surfaced that the path of totality has suddenly “shifted” and some eclipse hunters across the country have begun to worry that they may no longer witness the astronomical event.
But don’t worry, we’re here to help, or better yet, ask NASA scientists to explain everything.
The theory states that due to newfound uncertainty about the size of the Sun, the width of the predicted integrity path is actually slightly different. New calculations show that, in fact, some cities and areas that were previously considered to be located inside the path of totality are now actually outside it. In short, people in these cities will not be able to see the moon completely blocking the sun on April 8th.
Don’t change your travel plans just yet. This is not as big a shift as it seems.
“Calculations that use a slightly larger radius for the size of the Sun produce a slightly narrower eclipse path,” Dr. Michael Kirk, a scientist in the heliophysics division at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, tells Thrillist. “This difference will only affect cities at the very edge of the path of totality, where overall predictions are difficult no matter what—a few city blocks in one direction or the other could mean 20, 10, or 0 seconds of totality.”
Additionally, the size of the Sun is not the only factor that can affect the predicted width and size of the path. ” Uncertainty in the Earth’s rotation can also affect eclipse forecasts at this level,” explains Dr Kirk. “Traveling to the center of the path of totality—even a mile or two—will quickly increase the length of totality that people can see.”
Comment from the Editors of The Big The One: The news about NASA revising the path of the eclipse is not fake, as you might think – newsweek writes the same thing, like many other official newspapers. And the news can, let’s not be afraid of this word, make you go nuts.
The time and place of a solar eclipse were calculated years in advance by the ancient Egyptians, who drew formulas in the sand with a wooden stick. And then NASA, in the middle of the 21st century, decided to reconsider the size of the Sun and the trajectory of the Earth. There is an opinion that this trajectory is now like this:
This explains well why people constantly see sunrises and sunsets in a different place than before. This explains the increase in the number of earthquakes, the change in the direction of rotation of the polar vortex and much more, for example, the construction of bunkers in New Zealand.
When a top, suspended in zero gravity, begins to rotate in such a cycle, this is a sign that its axis of rotation is about to turn 180 degrees and the Sun will rise in the West and set in the East – as the Torah, Koran and Bible write about this .
How closely this prediction will be realized will become clear after assessing the shift of the eclipse line from the calculated one, so let’s keep an eye on the developments.
