Seven chinese women bought a common mansion to grow old together

Seven chinese women have taken an interesting step towards the future after buying a house together for their retirement.

“it was just a joke at first,”the friends say in a video showing their brand-new 700-square-foot house in the suburbs of Guangzhou, a big city near Hong Kong. “We told each other that we would get together when we were 60 and live out our old age together.”

this promise was made in 2008. 15 years later, they turned their dream into reality, raising about $ 584,000 to buy and completely remodel a dilapidated red brick house.

“we’ve known each other for more than 20 years,” said one of the women in the video, who noted that they were colleagues and sometimes closer than siblings.
