Quiet people do dangerous things

Quiet children are the most dangerous. Not for others, but for yourself, for your loved ones. And quiet people, too. Because they don’t draw attention to themselves, they don’t bother anyone and they don’t bother anyone. They behave quietly, as if they are not there.

And therefore, they do not immediately notice that there is actually no quiet child. And not for a long time.

The highway has a large chain store. There are always a lot of people there; truckers on huge trucks are driving along the road, special cars for bridge construction are driving, equipment is driving, cars are driving from one city to another… And they stop at the store to buy what they need and eat at a cafe nearby.

And in the store, a big giant trucker found a tiny girl in a pink hat. Like a cap, a cap, a jacket, too, pink, white pants.

The girl quietly examined the toys on the lower shelves. And just quietly walked around the store. So quiet that no one understood — the child is alone, without a mother!

Sellers ran up, of course. The trucker loudly asked: “Whose child?”.

Sellers began to question the girl. She obediently answered.

Mom was found later, the village is nearby. But still far away for such a tiny girl!

It turns out that the grandmother took her granddaughter from kindergarten. The granddaughter was playing quietly in the room, in the house. Grandma was making soup. The granddaughter is always so quiet, obedient, she won’t stir up water! And the quiet girl quietly put on a jacket, boots, a pink hat. And quietly went to the store two kilometers away, on the highway outside the village.

And the grandmother did not discover the absence of the girl until her mother called her in tears…

It’s not about someone being to blame.

It’s about quiet people who are so easy to lose. It’s like they don’t exist. And no one notices that they don’t really exist.

Or they feel bad. Or they’ve lost their way. Or they have fallen and cannot get up. Or need help. Or are they preparing to do something unexpected…

Quiet children should be looked after especially carefully. And for quiet adults, too. They sometimes act very unexpectedly. Or they quietly leave. And it’s not always possible to find them later…
