The EC is purchasing 40 million doses of the new miracle vaccine

reuters.com:  BRUSSELS, June 10 (Reuters) – The EU will sign a contract on Tuesday to supply more than 40 million doses of preventative bird flu vaccine to 15 countries, with the first deliveries going to Finland, EU officials said on Monday.
The deal provides up to 665,000 doses from vaccine maker CSL Seqirus and includes an option for a further 40 million vaccines over a maximum of four years. The vaccines will be procured jointly by the Commission’s emergency health unit HERA and 15 EU and European Economic Area countries.
The doses are intended for those most at risk from the virus, such as poultry farm workers and veterinarians. The United States, Canada and the United Kingdom are also in the process of securing preventive doses of the vaccine.
“With regard to avian influenza, we are constantly and actively monitoring the situation… and tomorrow, together with our Member States, we will ensure access to more than 40 million doses of avian influenza vaccine to protect those most at risk. Supplies are on the way to countries that already have urgent needs,” EU Health Commissioner Stella Kyriakides told Reuters.
The H5N1 virus has spread across most U.S. states, primarily affecting poultry production and affecting more than 80 dairy farms in recent months.
So far there have been no confirmed cases of human-to-human transmission of the virus, although three people in the US have become infected after contact with infected livestock since April 1
According to the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), there are no active cases in humans or cattle in the EU as of early June.
“Transmission of the virus to humans remains rare, and sustained transmission of the virus between people has not yet been observed,” the ECDC said in its weekly report for June 1-7. “The risk of zoonotic influenza transmission to communities in EU/EEA countries is considered low.”
Editorial Commentary of The Big The One: After the end of the great pandemic, it was clear to everyone that an even greater pandemic was coming, but the causative agent of the new infection was unknown. The substitute word “Disease X” was used to describe it, and all conspiracy theorists reacted terribly to publications about any new outbreaks and new strains, ranging from mutations of COVID-19 to Ebola. But now, it seems, the WHO has decided what they will treat people for at the next stage.
In the EU, only 4% of the population is engaged in farming, of which 4/5 grow vegetables and grapes, and only see chickens on TV. 40 million doses for the remaining public looks somewhat excessive, so obviously everyone will be treated. The only question is when they will start.
The answer to this question is still unknown, so we continue to monitor developments.
