What do you think of the White Brotherhood (Dannists)?
Like everything, they have positive and negative aspects. They are predominantly bright and well-meaning people, aspiring to spiritual improvement, but have not coped with much of their shortcomings, and therefore become a very easy victim to the dark forces that skillfully manipulate these shortcomings. For example:
They strive for the brotherhood without realizing what is driving them, ie. they do not realize the fears that make them look for the sure, the verified, the proven. That is, the lack of this awareness enables the dark to constantly fuel their fears and to suggest that these are reasonable arguments. On the other hand, they still look for the herd as a cozy community without considering that this community has created an egregor, an energy field that unifies everyone and does not allow the development of individuals. Apparently there is a free choice in the White Brotherhood, but the mere fact of having members for decades without any spiritual progress is very indicative of the oppressive influence of the egregora. But, on the other hand, it gives a sense of righteousness, the satisfaction of finding the one-man, and the fact that for years it has trampled in one place,
All these qualities of the White Brotherhood are typical of any religion, and as I have said, it is very skillfully manipulated by the dark, by impacting on collective energy / egregor. In fact, brotherhood has a very strong deterrent and oppressive impact on spiritual development because the belief that we are like everyone does not stimulate personal aspirations and quests. Ie. there is no internal development replaced by the mechanical repetition of the exercises and practices given by the Master a century ago to the spiritual seekers of that time. As in Christianity, no one wants to keep up with the changes imposed by the time and they are starting to fall behind. Of course, the increased energies also affect them, but the imposed by the egregor domination of the mind does not allow or weakly allows attention to the inner voice / leadership.
Of course, I must necessarily point out that for people at the beginning of their spiritual aspirations, brotherhood / flock is a good incentive for imitation and guidance. But spiritual development is an individual process and collective energies become a brake.
