I want the next lines to serve as a handbook for the transformation of today’s pedagogy.
My most difficult task at first is to convince you that you are ******** (self-censored). This is extremely important. If you do not accept this statement, I think you are not suitable for the education system – for many reasons I will try to explain in the following lines.
First, one who is considered a smart person very difficult to accept a foreign opinion that is different from his own. It looks like a cloaked vessel in which you can not pour anything. And there is such a dependence, the more empty the vessel, the closer it is.
Secondly, I hope that whoever has read the above lines and is outraged, has already given up, wasting his time by reading the next text. So he will not be involved in the transformation of the education system and the system will spit it out. The proud man is very conservative and does not have the necessary creative flexibility.
Thirdly, if you are not outraged that I call you ******** (self-censored), then you do not think you are perfect and you are willing to learn, that is, to keep in mind someone else’s opinion. Ie. you are open vessels, which, however complete they are, there is still little room for another thing.
Fourth, if you are not outraged that I call you ******** (self-censored), then you have the values ​​that make you fit to work as a pedagogue. And perhaps you will find strength and perseverance in overcoming the existing public opinion and inertia accumulated over the past centuries and millennia. If you do this, do not expect gratitude, but rather just blasphemy.
Fifth, human self-confidence for significant intellectual potential is mostly based on a good learning of what the old education system teaches. He tried to change this system to shake the foundation on which high self-confidence was based. You lose what you’ve been counting for so many years. Therefore, such a person will struggle with teeth and nails not to change what is based on his self-esteem. The one who assumes that he is not the top of the intellect does not have to rely on firmly established truths and is the real proponent of evolution. It is much less programmed and much easier to reprogram.
Sixth, a high-pressure pedagogue is trying to crush students who do not think like him. He has a constant need to prove to others how capable he is because he is so silenced by the voice of his own doubt – deep inside he knows that he is pressured by air, and therefore he needs to constantly deceive himself. Such a pedagogue creates the future lump and sludge of society because by suggesting to a child that he is incompetent, he breaks his wings and stays at the bottom. A person with a high degree of self-indulgence is not self-critical enough, and he does not understand how serious a problem he is and how big his responsibility is.
Many believe that the change in the education system should be “from the top”, without suspecting that this is a suggestion of the totalitarian system – this is not only a defeat of the former socialist system, but all other states are not less totalitarian because educational their systems do not differ materially from ours. In all ministries, the clerical spirit reigns – the basic thing is to create and execute regulations and instructions. And as long as a clerk is more strict in performance, the less he thinks, the more it is considered a “good job”. There is no exception, and the Ministry of Education – to justify receiving salaries – is filling schools with regulations and instructions that only contribute to justifying the tale of the green horse. Civic mentality has no interest in changing the status quo and it is absurd to expect change from there. Therefore, the only way to change something in the education system is on the ground – enthusiasts to try new methods. And only the positive results can be resisted by the pressure of the conservative system. Positive results act infrequently, and this may lead to quantitative accumulation, forcing the ministry to rebate. And do not forget – the winners nobody sues them, but it’s hard to admit that someone is a winner. and this may lead to a quantitative accumulation that would force the ministry to rebate. And do not forget – the winners nobody sues them, but it’s hard to admit that someone is a winner. and this may lead to a quantitative accumulation that would force the ministry to rebate. And do not forget – the winners nobody sues them, but it’s hard to admit that someone is a winner.
If you feel unreliable and want to have more information, how to do this or that – always remember that it is the poison of totalitarian programs. This insecurity and fear are programmed into you by a system that has been trying to create lingering pawns. Only by realizing this fact you can neutralize their effect. And ideas you can find in the experience of many educators around the world – look for and find. But never forget that these are just ideas, not regulations and instructions. Ideas should be applied creatively, depending on the specific conditions. Do not be afraid to experiment, do not be afraid to be wrong – you can not cause more damage than the existing totalitarian system. We are at the bottom, so whatever you do to change the system is ever pushing up.
I want to stress that this is heroic. Hero is this person who is not afraid to do anything for a common good that is afraid to do most people. So, standing up against the system is a pure test of heroism, all the more so that you have no such examples in your childhood. These are not exaggerated tales – the one who goes to the first paths to change will feel it on his own back – it will be very difficult for him. But the next generation will be much easier – they will have an example in front of them, who only need to improve.
In order to be a true and successful pedagogue, one must strive for three things: to love the children BEFORE, to strive to become as good a psychologist as possible and to be a good professional in the field he has chosen: a literary, a mathematician, and .n.
Loving without guiding sympathy is the great test today for every person. This is especially true for pedagogues – the children are different, but they must love each other in the same way to stay different. Because love gives freedom, and indifference takes it away. It is only by love that the barracks of schools can be abolished and healed by totalitarian training.
It is very important for a teacher to be a VERY GOOD PSYCHOLOGIST. Unfortunately, in pedagogical specialties this subject is studied very superficially. In practice, education does not give any practical knowledge and skills. And if a person does not have internally developed knowledge and skills accumulated from past experiences, he is useless as a pedagogue because he does not know how to help in everyday psychological problems.
Today’s education system (worldwide) does not teach the most important thing – how to become a person. What are the reasons for the conflicts in society and how they can be overcome. What causes conflicts in the family and how they can be avoided. How to become a parent and what you need to know about not trying to turn your children into copies. Who in the education system knows how important it is to preserve the individuality of each child – it’s not a plasticine that you can squash, as you see fit, because that child will do the same in the same way. Today’s aggressiveness of children is a protest against their right to free choice – how many educators are willing to give this right to free choice? How many educators are ready and know how to hold a conversation with parents, which are programmed totally? And this conversation is in most cases very difficult – reprogramming of the elderly is sometimes impossible, but there must be some compromise. How many of you are ready to fight these problems and how long will your forces reach you?
Solving all these questions is much more important, perhaps thousands of times than learning the children how to solve a square root. Therefore, the efforts of everyone in the system should be directed in this direction, not to use unnecessary knowledge. There must be some knowledge in every subject, but a deep study only if the pupil is interested in non-compulsory classes. It is not true that there are children who are not interested in anything – there is only a system that has made them indifferent. How many educators are willing to fight this indifference? Are pedagogues the ones who do not know and therefore do not want to deal with indifference? Here is another very big problem in the education system – how to create responsible people. Responsible, not necessarily to solve a problem, but creatively responsible – always looking for and finding several solutions to the problem. But this is possible if one person feels free, ie. is educated to be free – his intruding rules always allow only one solution.
The most important thing to learn to become a true educator is to learn to give freedom. When you start working on this, you will see that freedom is extremely diverse. Generally, when it comes to freedom, most people working in the system are afraid that it will become a mess. On the contrary, the free person is a responsible person because the burden of making decisions lies entirely on him. A constraint is irresponsible because it is embedded that someone else has to decide for him and be responsible for these decisions. And in such cases conflicts, bad discipline, arrogance and irresponsibility are inevitable. You will have to learn to have more trust in the children – never forget that they may be older souls than yourself and therefore, with more experience and understanding. If you forget this, you have unconsciously dealing with being underdeveloped, oligophrenic. And they start behaving like this just to wipe your nose. Do not get your own goal.
The main thing in your work is the atmosphere you create. The most important thing is to love the children without criticizing, to learn to see only their beautiful countries, and the shortcomings you do not notice. So it would be nice to be your friends – equal friends, not small friends. You can afford, like friends, to complain how difficult it is sometimes. Do not be ashamed and cry in front of them. To absorb the material, an elevated atmosphere is required – if for some reason at the beginning of the mood the mood is suppressed, try to change it, if you fail, postpone the teaching of the material. To create the right atmosphere, when you have the opportunity to go out to nature or another suitable place according to the topic. Appropriate music is also not to be underestimated. If children are distracted, change the theme, and so on. If the atmosphere around you does not interest you, if you think it’s enough to just sing your program material – you’re a figure who does all this for a salary. Then it is much better for you and others to look for another job away from the education system. All this also applies to HEIs – it is not clear why, they are considered to be special.
The main problem with the education system is that it has shifted the focus of attention to the goal. All efforts of the system are focused on the accumulation of information, but must be directed to understanding the processes of human relations, society and the universe. Understanding and information are inversely proportional – the more information is, the more difficult it is to understand, the more difficult it is to see the interdependence between the facts. And that depends on each of you. You will immediately say that there is a program that you are required to observe. But these are empty words. If you want to change the education system and not be responsible for crippled human souls, you have to announce the rules. You are united for your salaries, and the fates of other people are not of interest to you.
I think the education ministry should just be closed. In general, many of the public processes need to be decentralized so they can change with time. The functions of the state must be severely reduced – it is a system that has become out of date – the state is a powerful union for opposing an enemy. If people are willing to live in peace and understanding among themselves, the threat disappears, government is losing its effectiveness and becoming a meaningless burden for society. Do not let the power-lovers manipulate you with your fears!
Because of all this, education is inefficient and has lost the prestige that it should have. That is why it is very difficult to understand the claims of some of you that your society owes you something. Society respects and gives when it sees positive results from one’s labor. How many people do they remember with love for some of their teachers? Observe your reactions – you do not expect anyone else to change anything, you’re getting hurt, the kids are incompetent, and so on. Why do not you realize that those who make regulations and laws are also your product – why are they not empathetic and good-natured, or as always, you have nothing to do with it?
It is very important for the education system to introduce meditation training and it is practiced throughout all school years – this is the method that can quickly remove the hurts that are causing the current educational system of individuals. Because each person’s ability through meditation unfolds to the fullest extent, and he assumes responsibility for his own life and realizes that he must be useful to others because we are all a single whole.
Please forgive me for naming you in the beginning, but I really do not want to forget that your wings are glued to wax, and because they are too close to the sun, they will collapse. It would also be nice to get used to the thought that not only are smart people or just stupid people, and even the smartest one is a little simple.
