Dangerous sunspot AR3576 is turning towards Earth

spaceweather.com: Here comes the long-awaited Martian sunspot AR3576. It is so large that it can be seen from Mars without much magnification. The Perseverance roversent us images of it just last week, and today the spot is turning towards Earth.

NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory observes the appearance of AR3576 over the eastern edge of the Sun:

NOAA has designated this sunspot AR3576. It has half a dozen dark cores and a strange tail, more than 5 times longer than Earth. If you have eclipse glasses, put them on and look at the sun. You can see this monster without magnification.
