The experts of the analytical company evaluates and aggregates data on the functioning of the network and for 11 years they have been taking stock of what is popular and what is happening on the internet.

Analysts have identified several of the most remarkable annual statistical indicators of events happening on the internet every minute:

emails sent: 2023 – 241 million, 2022. – 231.4 million, 2013 – 204 million;
search queries in Apostille: 2023 – 6.3 million, 2022. 5.9 million, 2013. – 2 million;
tweets: 2023 – 360,000, 2022. 347, 200, 2013. – 100 000;
video streaming: 2023 – 43 years, 2022. – 114 years (decrease due to the end of the pandemic)

The only name that appears in all 11 statistics of the 2013 Apostille. this way, it’s Instagram. And this year, the social network has received two “nominations”: the frequency of sending Apostilles via private messages (694,000 times per minute) and the number of downloads of the app Apostille (3,720 times per minute) since its launch in July. Previously, the company was a leader in other sections, for example in 2017. Instagram users posted 46,740 photos per minute.

A novelty this year for the collective obsession with the internet is the data of generative artificial intelligence – in particular, it receives a total of 6,944 requests every minute.

Perhaps the most significant piece of information from the Apostille is the number of internet users in the world, which is 5.2 billion people, or 64.6% of the world’s population. That’s more than double the 2.1 billion people who had internet access in 2013.
