Problems after cesarean section, about which doctors are silent

It can be said that recently it has become fashionable for young mothers to choose to give birth by cesarean section themselves, considering it the easier way. Of course, there are women who need it for medical reasons. There are some consequences of cesarean section that doctors will warn you about, but it’s still good to be aware of them.
Problems with menstruation
After cesarean section, menstruation can be much more abundant and painful. The pain will be there until the scar on your uterus completely heals. The reason for this is that during menstruation, the muscular layer of the wall of the uterus precisely in the area of the scar decreases, which leads to pain. Not all women notice a difference in menstruation before and after childbirth, sometimes the body recovers really quickly.
Lack of maternal instinct
In natural childbirth, as soon as the baby is born, it is left with the mother. She takes care of him, breastfeeds him, hugs him, unfortunately this is impossible in women who give birth operationally. Mothers see their child after a while and sometimes feel a barrier between themselves and the baby. It may take time for a woman to feel maternal affection.
Bleeding
In normal childbirth, the woman’s uterus immediately begins to contract, which saves the mother from excessive bleeding. After cesarean section, the uterus is likely to remain in a flaccid state, leading to large blood loss. This condition is usually treated with medication.
Weight gain
Let’s not forget the fact that cesarean section is actually an operation that should not be underestimated. Recovery takes some time. Some women fall into depression when they see their own bodies, stop taking care of themselves, eat sweets from grief. Therefore, it is good for every mother to go to physiotherapy after childbirth.
Endometritis
About 7% of women who give birth operationally face this complication. The infection penetrates into the uterus and inflammation begins. In most cases, endometritis can be treated with antibiotics, but sometimes it leads to removal of the uterus.
Bladder problems
You may experience unexpected pain and bladder spasms after cesarean delivery. Another problem due to weakened muscles in this area is urinary retention in the urinary tract, which often leads to infection.
Scar
Medicine is very advanced and there are all kinds of cosmetics to erase the scar from the operation. However, the wound and Scar are not only on the skin, but also on the uterus. A woman should be very careful not to hurt him, because this can lead to serious consequences and problems in the next pregnancy.
Only and only caesarean section
When a woman gives birth by caesarean section, it does not mean that she will not give birth again. However, with repeated pregnancy, it is recommended not to try a natural birth, but again to be by cesarean section. This is because there is a possibility of rupture of the uterus.
Adhesion
After surgery, the body makes a huge effort to recover. A process begins in which fibrin is released, which reattaches the tissues. However, sometimes it happens to affect the intestinal cycles and pelvic organs, leading to adhesion. Pelvic and root pain, indigestion, constipation or flatulence may occur. Do not underestimate this problem, because complications can occur.
Post-traumatic stress disorder
Women who give birth by caesarean section are much more susceptible to this disorder. Fear, lack of support before or during, in some cases and after childbirth can affect the mother’s psyche very badly. Symptoms of this syndrome include poor sleep, nightmares, irritability, anxiety, and panic attacks.
Feeling guilty
Every woman dreams of the day she will see her baby for the first time. There may be slightly different emotions in women who have given birth with surgery. Some women begin to feel guilt and anger, even reaching a drop in self-esteem. The reason is that they are the subject of malicious comments from women who have given birth naturally and have felt the pain of childbirth. According to them, if a woman did not give birth naturally, she is not a real mother. One should not pay attention to such comments, because the main thing is that the woman breathes life, and this is a miracle that should be appreciated.
No matter how you have to give birth or choose to give birth, the most important thing is what kind of mother you will be in the future!
