US tabloids are concerned about a strange case of apparent reincarnation

fox2now.com:  Do you believe in past lives? The Ohio boy’s family says they never believed until their child learned to speak and began sharing specific details about his past incarnation. He told his parents about how he lived a different life, in another city. He lived like a woman who suffered a terrible death.
Any parents will tell you that their children do and say some pretty strange things. So Erica Ruehlman’s 2-year-old son, Luke, seemed obsessed with safety in his suburban Cincinnati home. Then there was another amazing fixation.
“I specifically asked him, ‘Why did you name the ladybug Pam? – says Luke’s mother. “And he told me in response that it was a beautiful name.” I was terribly surprised then, because we don’t know anyone named Pam.”
Soon everything became “Pam” for the child, from toys to drawings with increasingly peculiar comments.
“He said that when he was a girl, he had black hair and dark skin. Or he said that he had the same earrings,” says Erika Rühlman.
The housewife silently wondered where the child got such ideas? One day she decided to ask Luke about it directly. Her son’s answer changed her life with her husband forever.
“I asked him, ‘Who is Pam?’ Then Luke turned to me and said, “Well, Pam—that was me.”
Then I asked: “What do you mean?” He replied, “Well, I used to be like Pam. Then I died and ascended to heaven. There I saw God. We talked for a while and eventually God pushed me back. And when I woke up, I was very small. And for some reason you called me LUK.”
Erica talks about everything in confusion and she can be understood – the child’s answers make her and Luke’s grandmother faint. Having taken the baby who had begun to speak, she, frightened, called Erica and said that something strange was happening to her grandson.
“We are not a religious family at all. Neither I, nor my husband, nor our children have ever run around the apartment with the Bible and talked about God in front of the child,” says the boy’s grandmother, Lisa Trump.
But the most terrifying twist was when the mother decided to ask the child what happened next:
“Do you remember how you died?” Eric asked her son. “He looked straight at me so strangely and said: “Yes, it was a fire. Pam jumped out of the window and fell to her death.” And at that moment he made a movement with his hands, showing as if there was fire, and how he jumped out of the building to save himself.”
To say that Erica was shocked by this answer would be putting it very, very mildly. For some time she asked Luke about Pam, who walked a lot around some huge city, where there were beautiful and tall buildings. At some point, Luke remembered that this was Chicago.
“Are you sure it was Chicago? – Erica asked her son. – Yes, I remember exactly that it was Chicago. This was Chicago!
Puzzled, Lisa and Erica began searching the Internet. It quickly became clear that of the tall buildings there, only one had recently burned – the Chicago Paxton Hotel. There was a fire in March 1993, hotel visitors, fleeing from the fire, huddled on the upper floors and 19 people died there. Among them there was only one Pam – a 30-year-old African American woman named Pamela Robinson.
Then Lisa and Erica, trying to dispel this nightmare, decided to put the child to the test. They found a photo of Pam on the Internet and placed it on a huge piece of paper with many other fake photos. The child pointed to Pam’s photo the first time:
“After that it took us a few days to come to our senses. We couldn’t sleep,” says Lisa Trump.
However, having come to their senses, Lisa and Erica tried to contact Pamela Robinson’s relatives. They found her daughter, but after a short conversation she became scared and refused further conversation. The only thing we managed to find out was that Pamela Robinson loved the work of Stevie Wonder. And Luke likes his music too.
