FOR THE SPIRITUAL HAUGHTINESS

FOR THE SPIRITUAL HAUGHTINESS

This chapter is a continuation and addition to the previous one.
If all existing is God then our major problem is why we regard ourselves as something separate from him. Naturally, it’s because we are not perfect, as he is, and our imperfectness makes us feel different. In reality there is no way for us to be separated and obviously the problem is only in our consciousness. Our imperfectness and shortcomings are accumulated in our monad as unbalanced energies – an excess of the plus or minus (electricity and magnetism) in the respective frequency. This is determined by our consciousness – as I have mentioned before, our consciousness controls the energies from which we consist and the force of right gives us freedom of choice. Everything depends on our position – when it is positive or negative we give or take energy from the object on which our attention is focused. Thus we disturb the existing harmony and we become involved, i.e. we attract or repulse everything that is around us. Entering in this way into energy interaction we are attracted or repulsed by the reality polarized by us, i.e. we suffer or we are pleased. It is obvious that if we have no interrelations with reality and we don’t try to change it all the time we won’t have a conflict with it. But we constantly stick with imaginary beliefs and try to adjust the reality according to our views about them. In this way we are constantly accumulating chaos, which, of course, nobody else should put in order but ourselves. This chaos is accumulating in us and we call it illusionary ideas of the Ego. As it is produced by our consciousness it will continue causing us suffering until we produce it, i.e. until we change our consciousness and start producing harmony with the right of free choice we are given.
The Ego (or the personality) is a sum of all our shortcomings, which make us feel as something separate from the Whole. These shortcomings, as I mentioned, are our polarized positions to the reality, which we call illusions, because they are derive from our consciousness and have nothing to do with reality. Visually, our illusions look like a shell around our consciousness that impedes the perception of reality. I.e. every consciousness has it’s own shell and it can only be destroyed and eliminated by the consciousness that has built it. This happens when we stop polarizing our positions and stop sticking to, or regarding as absolute, the illusions created by ourselves.
Everyone, and I underline, EVERYONE, has certain lucid moments – from time to time small holes appear in his illusions, through which (by the so called psychological phenomena) he manages to see a certain part of the reality. Those who are afraid of going out of the gray mediocrity called “normal person” chance on psychiatrists and in psychiatry in order to be returned back violently to the world of illusions. Those who are not afraid of being unique examine the reality with amazement and try to cope with the contradictions, which create their illusions. Unfortunately, with rare exceptions, the so called “spiritual” people, by habit, turn the particles of reality into illusions by announcing them unique and true and themselves for exceptional and having the sole right for access and they regard themselves as messiahs. The gripping of the illusion is massive because these lucid moments are an indicator for spiritual growth and excessiveness. Nobody wants to admit that when they look through the keyhole what they usually see is the opposite wall.
As I have already mentioned the reason that creates illusions all the time is the shell of illusions. Our self-insulation from the Whole gives us a constant feeling for loneliness and inferiority. We all try to cope with these depressive feelings in a way. Usually all our life we try to create the illusion for our significance and in that way to muffle the call of the Whole. Everyone, depending on his illusions, tries to prove himself that he is better and more significant than the others are and by variety of manipulations he strives to make the others admit that. Those, who haven’t got moral restrictions, try to compensate their feeling of inferiority by inducing fear in others. Others are trying to prove themselves by striving for power – they try to have subordinates in some way. Third ones are trying to be notable for their mind by putting themselves in line with the rows of the intelligentsia. Forth ones are trying to suggest their “spirituality” and get followers. Fifth ones are laying up money because this is accepted by the society as an indicator of abilities. With his efforts absolutely everyone struts about like a peacock who is proud of his shining and beautiful feathers (his illusions). Vanity reigns, everyone wants to be admired, to be praised in order to muffle the inner sense of lack of satisfaction. And all that is considered normal because it stimulates evolution, but as has everything that exists it has its positive and negative side. It is a constant source of illusions and of the big obstacle – the spiritual haughtiness that could make quite a lot of lives senseless and make many pains and sufferings fruitless.
I would like to underline that all types of phenomena – clairvoyance, extrasensory and healing abilities, psychometrics and telepathy, the accumulated knowledge and achievements are not a sign for enlightenment, but only looking from time to time through the keyhole to the reality. The enlightenment comes after the elimination of the ego (the personality), i.e. all the shortcomings and attachment to the illusions. But this leads to loss of individuality – how many people are ready to lose their individuality? It is obvious that pride is the biggest problem for everyone, because it creates and maintains the personality, the ego. How many people are ready to give up their shiny feathers?
Almost everyone who defines himself, as “spiritual” and highly developed person wants to be a teacher in order to be admired and his spiritual haughtiness fed. But the age of the spiritual teachers is over. They used to play the role of spiritual locomotives in the past, as due to the lack of energy it was extremely difficult for the people to think for themselves. It is traditionally impressed that somebody should lead you by your hand and take responsibility for you. But in the new age zombies that cannot think independently and cannot take responsibility for theirs thoughts and actions will not enter. That’s why the absolute authority which most of the so-called “spiritual teachers” create is a brake, I even would call it an obstacle on the way to the New Age. Yes, especially now there are many people with a lot of knowledge and wisdom, but in order to be useful for the others they should control their spiritual haughtiness and stop producing zombies. The knowing and mighty one should limit himself to the role of spiritual adviser (consultant) trying to stimulate the independent thinking and expansion of the consciousness. But in order to have success in this field he should prevent himself from becoming the absolute authority because the absolute authority produces parrots.
Very often a spiritual haughtiness is developed based on following and implementing certain spiritual rules and traditions. If these rules are given by a well known spiritual authority then the one who follows them develops the self-confidence that he had become equal to this authority. But the mechanic following of somebody’s prescriptions doesn’t lead to inward perfection – only conscious self-observation and self-control gives results. If it was not like that for the thousands years of development of the different religions and theirs sects there should have been one that having touched the most correct methods for spiritual perfection it should have become the leader. All the systems vegetate in a similar way, from time to time, from each system someone that achieves real development shows up, but he achieves that not because he followed the rules, but in spite of them, because he started to think for himself and he took responsibility. It is obvious that not the system and not the rules are important, but someone’s awareness that leads to expansion of the consciousness and dilution of the illusions.
So, dear spiritually forward looking, until you feel yourselves different to the other people by seeing their shortcomings and if they irritate you and may be you even criticize them, you are too far away from the spiritual path, you are led by your spiritual haughtiness.
