IMMORTALITY

IMMORTALITY

A subject that periodically bothers people is that of immortality, not only because is of exceptional importance but also because peoples further development depends upon their attaining new meaning of old concepts and acceptance.
Unfortunately for a long period of time people will still be dependent on thought inertia. The change is happening very slowly but it has started however. I don’t know if anybody has thought about the damage to the human mind and health that is caused by the illusion that existence is limited in time. It is difficult to explain rejection of immortality. Is it a result of a natural masochism or does the process of doubting itself give a self-confidence for logical thinking and common sense? Or is it that logical thinking should reach the conclusion that the concept for eternal existence has many more good points than does an existence limited in time? Accepting of course that immortality gradually eliminates most of our worries, fears and troubles.
Because the time factor loses its inexorability, there is time for everything – we are eternal. By reducing stress the amount of illness decreases and by ceasing the pursuit of missed opportunities the incidence of unfortunate accidents also decreases. The drop in stress improves relationships between people and increases tolerance to other people’s shortcomings. We aren’t together only for a lifetime (a limited time), are we! The peace of mind we gain changes our attitude to Nature, the animal and plant worlds. We forget that we’ve tried to reign and we realise all the more that our existence is only possible in harmonic unity. This new attitude dramatically improves our energy exchange and capabilities. Gradually our memory, vision, hearing, reactions and health as a whole are improved.
Realising that our material body is not our true nature but only a temporary instrument of our consciousness makes very important changes to happen in our values system priorities. All conditions for maintenance of this body: saving money, clothes, cars, houses, etc., become worthless. All that is worthwhile is that which is an inseparable part of our consciousness and that which we can use for thousands of years: knowledge, skills, wisdom, energy and mental capabilities. This re-direction of the everyday occupations bears its fruits by increasing mental capabilities, expanding consciousness and intuition. Later on it leads to clairvoyance and many other capabilities considered as phenomenon nowadays.
Accepting immortality by most people leads to cardinal changes in social relationships: crime decreases – everybody considers their actions when they are convinced that they will suffer the consequences of these actions for thousands of years to come. All types of aggression decrease and this reduces the necessity for police, military, jurisdiction, etc. This simplifies and calms the social life. In international relationships all contradictions decrease and the necessity for having borders and restrictions in communications dies out.
Logically all this is very attractive but for most people it is still utopia. If they manage to overcome their fear of change, the processes that will start running within them will be the best proof of the reality of these “utopias”. It is interesting to investigate what is stopping such a change in the human mind. In the first place it is the inertia of public opinion. For its part mankind’s elite, intellectuals and scientists to the greatest extent determine it. Unfortunately the importance of science is idealised and this is stopping the correction of its shortcomings. In brief it is often forgotten or it is not known that science is based only on experiments, i.e. only phenomenon that are repeatable are investigated and everything that is unique is left out of consideration. If we look without prejudice, in nature everything is unique – processes run according to the spiral laws, i.e. repetition is relative and there is always a certain difference. Therefore the experimental proofs in science are fictional – or there is not enough sensitivity in order that the differences can be recognised or as it happens in most cases: “The differences are disparagingly small.” The scientists themselves reached a dead-end when they found that the experimenters themselves influence the processes of their experiments. They started realising that all science theories and laws are relative, i.e. they are special cases, not absolute truths.
Another significant shortcoming is sciences disregard for existing reality that can not be recorded by one of the five basic human senses. Although the information and methods for examination of this reality remain known from the remote past. But scientists bury their heads in the sand like the ostrich and therefore problems are not decreased but accumulated. It is amazing how authorities reject facts that they can’t assimilate. Everyone can judge for himself how objective is each scientist’s judgment bearing in mind that official science as a whole knows only 7 – 8 % of the matter existing around us.
A significant obstacle for apprehension of immortality is inertia in the thinking of each human being. The following example is indicative in this respect: many people understand the reality of reincarnations but this hasn’t influenced their outlook. A main reason for that is; memory durability. On one hand this durability ensures immortality of consciousness, but on the other hand we can’t push a button and delete the unneeded. In our consciousness old and new views and knowledge exist together for a very long time. And as the differences in meaning are big, new ideas are not complementing the old ones – often our consciousness is in chaos. Many people are afraid because they don’t know how to escape from it. The old knowledge is still active and influential and although the new one is accepted logically it is not strong enough yet in order to prevail in our consciousness and get rid of the old truths turned to prejudices.
When the point is about immortality, we always ask the question: Why we don’t remember anything from our previous lives? The objective answers to this question are many, but the most significant one is that we remember but rarely realise or apprehend these memories as reality. Science tries to explain part of them as inherited memory, genetically handed down. Apprehension of these memories is a matter of time and is possible only if we get rid of the old prejudices.
At the end of the day the most important thing is for we to understand the following: “Nothing in nature disappears, it just changes from one form to another.”
